The Imaging Cores - Electron (ICEL) is a full-service facility, whose mission is to provide access and advanced expertise in life sciences Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) related research, from consultation and sample prep to imaging, data analysis and training, delivered to internal users on campus, and external institutions and private sector. Support is also available for experimental design, collaborations, writing grants and publications.
We receive previously fixed samples, prepare them for TEM, SEM, negative staining and immunoelectron microscopy techniques, and perform ultramicrotomy, digital imaging and interpretation of results.

Please note: The ground floor entrances to this building all require previously authorized CatCard access.
